News Item   National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the Administration of Local Revenues & Benefits (ALRAB)
The NOS are broad statements of competences and knowledge that are required by people working in Local Taxation and Benefits. All future accredited qualifications must be based on the NOS, which may also be used to write job descriptions, training schemes etc. The NOS apply across the UK, and are in the public domain. As such they are not owned by the IRRV, but the Institute supports their development and revision.
