Member of the Valuation Faculty Board

Geoff joined the IRRV in 1981, and was on the Institute’s Council 1996/99 and 2000/2003.  He has spoken at IRRV and other Conferences, and is a regular contributor to "Valuer" Magazine.   He is a RICS Rating Diploma Holder, joint editor of the Rating section of the Surveyors Fact Book, and a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association and Rating Surveyors Association.

He is a Executive Committe member (and Past Chairman) of the London and Home Counties Association, and has organised Association Meetings including Mock Valuation Tribunals and Rating Talks.

Geoff 's previous career has been spent in Valuation Office Agency where his was District Valuer and Valuation Officer for 21 years for Barking Westminster Islington and finally District Valuer and Group Valuation Officer City (and East London) from 1998.

He joined Strettons Chartered Surveyors in 2001 as a Professional Consultant Chartered Surveyor specialising in recent years in Compensation particularly Relocation/Compensation for business and land owners affected by the Olympics 2012/Legacy Compulsory Purchase Order and Crossrail.

Geoff (and Roger Messenger) are the first two Uk Recognised European Valuers.   "REV"
