Andrew Hetherton MRICS IRRV (Hons)
Andrew has been a IRRV Council from November 2015 and the current Senior Vice President 2018/19. He is Chairman of the Law and Research Committee and Chairman of the Valuation Association (formerly the Valuation Faculty Board). He is member of the Professional Bodies Liaison Group and attends both the Valuation Tribunal User Group and the Business Rates Advisory Forum on behalf of the IRRV.
He is a past president of the Rating Surveyors' Association and currently a member of the RSA Committee.
During his career he has deal with a wide range of properties including Out of Town Retail. He is also a Director and Chairman of Accessible Retail Ltd a representative body for those owners, agents, occupiers and investors in the out of town retail sector.
He has acted as the convenor on behalf of the RSA in the successful intervention in the Monk v Newbigin (VO) case heard before the UK Supreme Court.
He has spoken at a wide range of events including IRRV, IPTI and CPT Conferences. He has also supported other organisations including Accessible Retail, the Property Managers Association and conferences run by Landmark Chambers, and the RICS.
