IRRV Benefits Conference and Exhibition 2010
Southport Convention Centre, 9 - 11 February 2010

CONFERENCE RATES HELD FOR 3RD YEAR RUNNING*

We are pleased to announce that due to the success of last year’s Benefits Conference & Exhibition the IRRV will be returning to the Southport Convention Centre on 09 - 11 February 2010.
This year the event will, as ever be accompanied by an exhibition at which all the leading suppliers of goods and services will be represented.

For over a decade the IRRV’s Benefits Conference has widely been regarded as the primary event for practitioners involved in the delivery of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit.
At this years event there will be a mixture of sessions, from keynote addresses to interactive workshops. The event will contain both best practice and theory presentations, all delivered and facilitated by leading industry figures and experts.

STOP PRESS
The DWP issued the long awaited consultation document on the future of housing benefit on the 15 December. The document whilst small in content is perhaps the most significant statement on the future of assistance with housing costs for the last ten years. The institute will be adjusting it's programme for the forth coming benefits and benefit fraud conferences to insure that delegates will have every opportunity to express their views and influence the institutes response to this consultation.

This objective will be achieved by the inclusion in the programme of two active workshops one on the future of housing benefit and the other on the impact of the changes on fraud and error.

The 2010 conference will perhaps be the most significant event in the benefit professions calendar before the next general election.

You need to be there to insure that all the hard work done by local government officers over the last twenty five years is not wasted by hasty policy decisions from central government.
