National President 2018 / 2019

I’m currently Head of Revenues and Benefits at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. I started work, over 20 years ago, in Port Talbot Borough Council benefits section as a clerical assistant, during the days of Community Charge Benefit. Since that time I’ve gained experience in a range of roles at various local authorities and within the private sector, most recently as Change and Service Development Manager at Liberata where I  worked with a range of clients on the Welfare Reforms and Fraud and Error Initiatives.  

I am a Fellow member of the IRRV, a regular public speaker at conferences, past President of the London & Home Counties Association, write a regular technical benefit column for the IRRV benefit magazine, provide tuition at a variety of levels and subjects for the IRRV professional qualifications in additional to facilitating training days. I am also a member of Benefits Faculty Board, the Education and Membership Committee and have also assisted with the Inspection process for Performance Awards in various categories.
