Training is a key foundation to any operational practice. The effectiveness of an organisation can be measured by the quality of its training programmes. Employers use many different forms of training and develop their own versions of blended learning, which include face to face sessions, webinars, briefing

notes and other traditional forms of learning. Generally, the quality of these various approaches can be measured by the quality of the trainer and the material they use. The risk with the traditional forms of training is consistency and accuracy, particularly if you are delivering to a large number of people over a number of sessions. The inconsistency and quality are often the major factors in measuring the ‘value for money’ of the chosen approach.
